“People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that's what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life.  A soul mates purpose is to shake you up, tear apart your ego a little bit, show you your obstacles and addictions, break your heart open so new light can get in."

Please don't be discouraged if you're not in a relationship on Valentines Day. Get busy being the fabulous single person you are.

You do not need to be in a relationship, not at the cost of yourself. The single relationship that is truly central and crucial in a life is the relationship to the self. Of all the people you will know in a lifetime, you are the only one you will never lose.

Happy Valentines Day.

Hello my “fluid-thinking” friend. How are you? So many people get so worked up over Valentines Day, especially single people. It’s another one of those commercially charged holidays where the pressure is really on. I’ve spent many V-Days by myself and the world didn’t end. I don’t know who started the phrase “Single Awareness Day” for those who are single on this day, but it’s a great idea. I’ve been seeing it all over the internet. Hope you have a wonderful day whether you’re celebrating V-Day or Single Awareness Day, or neither. (LOL) Good to hear from you.

Fluid-thinking?:P Does that mean I want to drink or have to pee?:P hehe I dunno how to describe how I am. It’s not that I get so worked up about V-Day. But, it’s the season that affects me. Yea, it’s one commercial—if you make it that way—holiday. But, it’s also a gut-check day like any other deadline. Taxes are due this day. Christmas is coming that day. The assignment needs to be done by the next day. So, for “love”, Valentine’s Day season (February) is sort of that sad, winter period unless you’re having romantic fun with it. I’ve played Cupid in the past. And, I may do it, again. I’m just tired this year. And, tired is the worst way to be next to depressed:P

When I say fluid thinking believe me, it’s a compliment. I’ve always been a fan of yours from day one. You have a way with words that is rare. I like that… “gut-check day” I have to remember that Don’t let your tired turn into depression okay.
